The room was incredibly small and no window. There was an uncomfortable smell and a few insects. The wifi was very good. I think the price is too high for what you get, it is only a good choice because of its convenient location (airport). I didn't see the other rooms, maybe the bigger ones with window are better.

Room size is quite small. Only have a small space to perform Solat for Muslim. The towel bar is quite high for me. So it's quite difficult to hang the towel. Room service is very good and the staff is very helpful.

Airport Stop Over

Based on other reviews on this site we selected the DR Hotel as airport stopover , we were spending the weekend on Langkawi Island and needed accommodation near the airport and somewhere to leave our bulky luggage as we didn't want to lug it over to the island. Therefore we took a small overnight bag with us and left everything else in the room. So that we did have some space in the room we opted for a family unit ...1 double bed and 1 single bed which provided the space we wanted (although it was still very tight). The WiFi was fine, we had a ground floor unit which suited us totally. The reception was helpful, the toilet/shower floor got very wet as there wasn't a partition between them. If you're staying there and want some great Western food , there is a very popular restaurant called "Gathers In" (correct spelling) right next door, we had dinner there twice, Fillet Steak, Braised Lamb Shank, Roast Chicken and Spaghetti Mariana ...which was cooked to perfection and tasted great....so suggest you try it.

They just upgraded our room to more bigger room that more comfortable to my family.Have a front desk 24 hour that ready to help anytime.No lift but they will bring your luggage to your room.Near with airport. Hard to find food after 10pm. Absolutely it was reasonable with the price.

We booked through the internet, big mistake, the nightly rate is much cheaper if you walk in. DON 'T book online. We reserved and paid for a superior suite, we were checked in to their most basic room, not the one we paid for. The room was very small, very hard for two people and luggage to move around. Room was dirty with lots of hair in the bed and bathroom. The mattress states 5 star but it's definitely not, there was no padding at all just all springs. We asked the front desk about the room we paid for and they said that management told them to check us into this room and they confirmed that this is not the room we paid for. They finally switched our room which was not much better, again dirty and stained sheets and a dirty bathroom. I would not recommend staying here, it's too expensive for what you get. The area is all hotels so there is a lot to choose from. Don't stay here, it's a terrible hotel.
